Cheryl MilnesFinance and Accounting
Cheryl is an experienced Financial Controller with a demonstrated history of working in the nonprofit sector with extensive experience in: budgeting, strategic planning, financial reporting, financial analysis, fundraising, process improvement and coaching. She has worked closely with a non-profit ministry and magazine, bookstore and church where she developed the annual budget and completed financial statement reports while she continuously monitored inventory levels and performed turnover analysis to maintain target profitability levels. Additionally, she has prepared and filed the 990 Tax Return, as well as, the monthly Wisconsin sales tax returns, which combined sales from the bookstore, coffee shop and various ministry departments. With her admirable teamwork, time management, and leadership skills Cheryl is effective when it comes to problem solving to improve results and engage teams.
Cheryl earned her bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and is a certified public accountant. She is Chairman of the Finance Committee and Treasurer at Elmbrook Church along with being a board member of Mission Discovery. |
