Julie TolanJulie has a passion for building high performing, mission-impact teams and organizations. She is known for her strategic vision, team building, creative problem-solving and strong network of community relationships. Before she and her husband acquired the Lauber firm in 2017, Julie was the CEO of the Milwaukee YMCA, taking the 160-year-old organization successfully through a very challenging Chapter 11 restructuring. During that same period, she was also part of the volunteer leadership team that orchestrated the successful merger between The University Club of Milwaukee and Tripoli Country Club.
Julie previously served as the president of JA Tolan & Associates, where she consulted with executives on leadership, organizational strategy and capacity, and board development. She spent a decade as vice president of university advancement at Marquette University, during which time Marquette achieved record-breaking fundraising success. Julie also served as the president of the United Performing Arts Fund. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. |
